When Should I Have My Vehicle Inspected?
Inspection of your vehicle is required near the end of your lease agreement. It should be completed around 30 days before the return of the car. This timeframe allows you the necessary time to have any repairs made if needed. If you choose not to make the repairs, you will receive an invoice or cost of any excess wear and tear or damages.
Can my Honda or Acura Dealer Perform the Inspection of My Vehicle?

What if Something Happens to My Vehicle Between the Time it's Inspected and the Date I Turn in the Vehicle?
Your vehicle will go through a final inspection after you turn it in. If any issues are found, you may still be liable for them. However, sometimes damages and malfunctions cannot be detected during an inspection, or an unexpected issue happens afterwards. If you receive an invoice you are unfamiliar with, don't hesitate to contact us, and we can sort it out with you.
Do I Have to Be Present During the Inspection?
It is advised that you or someone who knows your vehicle well enough is present during the inspection to answer any questions and sign the report at the end.
